The Morning Drink I Use to Support Digestion and Hydration

Lately I’ve been trying to hydrate more so I've been making new morning drinks to make my morning routine more exciting. I really notice a huge difference when I'm consistenyl hydrated, and I just know my body has been craving it.
I've taken it to a new level with a digestion mixture that aids digestion because I know my body is desperate for that too.

Hydration + Digestion Ingredients
16–24 oz filtered water
1 tablespoon chia seeds
juice from 1/2 lemon
lemon slices
cucumber slices
optional pinch of mineral salt
I usually let it sit for like 10 minutes so the chia seeds soften before drinking.
Benefits:
Chia Seeds
Chia seeds have fiber, so they help keep digestion moving. I notice the biggest difference when I’m consistent with them for a few days in a row, especially if I haven’t been eating enough fiber lately.
Lemon
Lemon water in the morning has always been my go-to when I'm igniting a new wellness era. It contains vitamin C and can wake digestion up a bit.
Cucumber
Cucumber is super hydrating and cooling, and I feel like it makes this more refreshing.
How Often I Drink This
Probably a few mornings a week. Overdoing fiber isn't a good thing.
I notice the biggest difference when I’m overall more hydrated consistently, eating more whole foods, and starting my mornings slower instead of starting my day by chugging caffeine.
And if you’re new to chia seeds, start smaller at first and make sure you’re drinking enough water throughout the day because fiber without enough hydration can do the opposite of what you want.
