Can you be aligned without releasing first? Can you glow before you’re aligned?

We live in a culture obsessed with the "after" photo. We want the radiance, the magnetism, and the effortless energy of those "lifestyle vloggers" on TikTok. But in the rush to glow up, many people skip the first two steps of the process.
Without the foundational work of Release and Align, a "glow" is often just a temporary moment... it's a new skincare routine, or new gym obsession. You can look the part, but the goal of the Glow phase isn't completely external. It's actually mostly internal.
Here is why the sequence matters and how to move through The Edit effectively.

Step 1: Release
The Weight You’re Carrying
You cannot pour into a cup that is already full of stagnant water. Most people try to add wellness habits like supplements, meditations, new diets on top of a nervous system that's living on survival mode.
Release is the moment you remove everything that drains your battery.
• The Physical: A gut protocol or a detox cleanse to reduce inflammation.
• The Social: Auditing your circle. If a relationship leaves you feeling depleted rather than energized, it’s a hole in your energy.
• The Emotional: Identifying the "old stories" and limiting beliefs that keep you playing small.
Somatic Work: Mind- Body Therapy to regulate your nervous system, allowing you to let go of stress stored in your body.

Step 2: Align
Filling the Space
Once you’ve cut ties with the old, toxic parts of your life, you’re left with a quiet, open space.
This phase requires you to go inwards. And then, you get to get excited about where you’re going next.
Align is where you decide who you are becoming. It’s about matching your daily actions to your future self. It's about finding what paths you're already drawn to and which one feels the most exciting, and beneficial.
• Intuitive Pulls: Noticing where your mind goes when it’s not being clouded by other people’s expectations.
•Vision Board: Envisioning your dream life so that you can see it( feel it, and then become it.
•Affirmations: This is where you start embodying your new identity. Daily practice of self talk.
• Consistency: Choosing the foods, thoughts, and environments that align with your dream version of you.

Step 3: Glow
The Result of Momentum
When your gut health is optimized, your nervous system is regulated, and your environment is cleared of "energy vampires," and you have finally started living like the person you dream of being, magnetism happens naturally.
This phase is where manifestation feels less like "hard work" and more like "momentum." You aren't chasing; you are attracting because you are finally a clear channel.
You are literally a magnet to everything that aligns with you. (You will also repel all the energy of everything you released.)

How to start R•A•G today:
1. Identify one "Energy Hole": What is one thing…a person, a habit, or a food that you know for a fact is holding you back? Decide to release it this week.
2. Check your Nervous System: Are you living in fight or flight? Incorporate five minutes of somatic breathwork or a cold rinse to signal safety to your body.
3. Audit your Inputs: Look at your social media feed and your kitchen pantry. Do these things align with the "Glow" version of you? If not, edit them out.
