inspired by Life Alive!
This Green Goddess Glow Bowl is actually my most perfectly delicious and balanced lunch or dinner.
This bowl was inspired by one of my favorites from Life Alive. It is the kind of meal that reminds you that beautiful food does not have to be complicated. You take a few fresh ingredients. Treat them with respect. Add a sauce that makes your shoulders drop a little. Suddenly you feel human again.
The base is brown rice. The kind that feels hearty without weighing you down. Add steamed tofu for protein. Steam broccoli until it turns that bright, hopeful green. Sauté or massage kale until it softens. Then finish everything with avocado and a ginger lemon tamari sauce that tastes clean and bright and alive.
What makes this bowl special is the balance. Warm rice. Crisp greens. Creamy avocado. And a sauce that pulls everything together. It is the kind of glow that you feel in your skin later. The kind your nervous system and your future self thanks you for.
This is the bowl you make when you want to feel nourished. When you want to support your gut. When you want something fast but not sloppy. When you want to eat like the version of you who knows exactly where she is going.
